Data Wohnfunk holds

• Your lowercased email address and an opaque server-side session.
• Your saved alert criteria, such as districts, room range, warm-rent range, size, property type, and selected sources.
• Your Discord webhook when you connect delivery. It is encrypted at rest and is never shown again in full.
• Your WhatsApp number, consent choice, consent time, and later verification status if you use WhatsApp after it launches.
• Thin listing facts needed for deduplication and matching, plus a factual notification audit.

Wohnfunk does not retain full listing descriptions or listing photos. Personal contact details found in listings are not needed and must be stripped from processing.

Email authentication

Wohnfunk uses Resend to deliver one-time sign-in links. The email address and delivery metadata required to send that message are processed by Resend. Add the final legal basis, processor agreement, retention period, and Resend privacy-policy reference before production.

Discord processing

When you connect a Discord webhook, Wohnfunk sends short factual matching-listing alerts and the original deeplink to that Discord channel. Discord receives the message and related delivery metadata under Discord's own terms. You can pause or remove the webhook at any time.

WhatsApp processing

WhatsApp delivery is not currently available. When it launches, Wohnfunk will send matching-listing alerts only after explicit consent. Sending will involve the selected WhatsApp Business Solution Provider and WhatsApp/Meta as additional recipients or processors. Their identity, location, legal basis, safeguards, and privacy notices must be added here when the provider is chosen.

Notifications link to the original rental source. Opening a link leaves Wohnfunk, and the source site’s own privacy terms and tracking practices then apply.

Your choices and rights

You can pause or remove Discord delivery at any time and, once WhatsApp launches, withdraw WhatsApp consent at any time. Subject to applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Add the final contact route and supervisory authority here.

Retention and security

[Insert reviewed retention periods for accounts, contacts, thin listing facts, sessions, and notification audits.] Sessions use an httpOnly cookie; secrets remain on the server. Production still requires rate limiting, verified email delivery, and an operational deletion process.
